What are Wobble Bolts?
The correct term is PCD Variation Bolts. This type of bolt has a unique rotating washer collar that sits beneath the hex and above the threaded stud. The 60° tapered collar is able to move 2.3mm in any given direction. For example, if you have wheels that are BMW 5x120 PCD to fit on to a Vauxhall Vivaro 5x118 PCD, the wobble bolt is able to rotate its collar seat until the bolt is fastened in tight. Once the bolt has made its final turn, the rotating collar is fixed and cannot move.
What are Flat Seat Variation Collar Bolts?
These are exactly as they sound, a bolt with a variation collar combined with a flat seat shank to seat perfectly into flat seat nut hole. This particular type of bolt will allow you to perfectly fit Range Rover Sport (5x120 Flat Nut Seat) OEM wheels to Trafic Primastar and Vivaro.
What are Spigot Rings?
A spigot ring (o ring / hub ring / spacer ring) is made from from poly-carbonate or metal. The purpose of a spigot ring is to centralise the wheel perfectly on to the hub of a vehicle, the correct size will ensure optimum fitment and prevent any wheel vibration or steering shake at high speeds. The ring is designed to fit flush into the back of an alloy wheel so that it can be mounted securely on to the hub of the vehicle. For example, the BMW e30 has a hub diameter of 57.1, BBS wheel has a diameter of 63.4mm, in this instance you would have to use the 57.1 - 63.4 spigot rings. We can custom manufacture spigot rings in forged aluminium for any size as low as 0.5mm difference, eg 66.6 - 67.1.
What is Load Rating?
It is important your alloys are the correct load weight rate for the vehicle. Commercial vans weigh more than most cars and more importantly have a higher carrying capacity (Max Load Weight). It's this Maximum Load Weight per axle that your wheels need to be able to carry, for various reasons, but most importantly to be safe and road legal.
Wheel Load Rating requirements are determined by dividing the vehicle's heaviest gross axle weight rating by two. In some cases you will only have the gross vehicle weight, here you would divide the rating by 4.

How do I work out Load Rate for my Van?
Please check your owners manual for the van gross vehicle weight. Below is an example for a Vauxhall / Opel Vivaro.
On a Vivaro 29 2.0 CDTi 115 SWB H/R the Gross Vehicle Weight is 2920kg. To work out the minimum Load rating for the wheels, take the 2920kg and divide it by 4 = 730kg. Therefore, in order to be safe and on the right side of the law, the wheels need to be load rated to a minimum weight of 730kg per corner.
